Elective Classes Terms of Service

(Last Modified 06/13/2025)

These Elective Classes Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the enrollment and participation of any student (“Student”) in elective classes offered by Frontier Tutoring LLC (“Frontier Tutoring,” “we,” or “the Company”). By enrolling a Student in an elective class, the parent, guardian, or responsible party (“Customer,” “You,” or “Your”) agrees to the following Terms, which are incorporated by reference into the Frontier Tutoring Service Agreement.

1. Overview of Elective Classes

Elective classes offered by Frontier Tutoring are instructional group sessions on topics outside the scope of academic tutoring or test preparation. Examples may include study skills, college planning workshops, enrichment subjects, or project-based learning modules. Elective classes are not individual tutoring and are not tailored to a specific student’s curriculum.

2. Registration & Access

Enrollment is confirmed only upon full payment. Each enrollment applies only to the specified class and schedule. Students must attend the class at the scheduled time; rescheduling, make-up sessions, or partial attendance adjustments are not permitted, except as outlined in Section 6.

The Company reserves the right to change the instructor, class format, content, or schedule. Advance notice will be provided when feasible, but such changes do not entitle the Customer to a refund.

3. Attendance Policy

Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions for the elective class in which they are enrolled. Missed sessions—whether due to illness, travel, scheduling conflicts, or other reasons—will not be refunded, prorated, or rescheduled.

4. Payment & Refunds

Full payment is due at the time of enrollment. Elective class fees are nonrefundable unless:

  • The class is canceled in full by Frontier Tutoring prior to its scheduled start; or

  • A prorated refund is issued under Section 6 due to a material change initiated by the Company.

Charter school or school district allotment payments are accepted where applicable. The Customer is responsible for timely submission of necessary paperwork to process such payments.

5. Student Conduct & Dismissals

Students are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors and classmates and follow all posted or communicated conduct rules. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior, including repeated tardiness, may result in dismissal from the class at the Company’s discretion. No refunds will be issued for students dismissed for conduct-related reasons.

6. Service Modifications or Cancellations

Frontier Tutoring may cancel a class, modify its schedule, or make changes to the format, instructor, or content. In the event of full class cancellation, the Customer will receive a full refund. If changes materially reduce the value of the class in the Company’s sole judgment, a prorated refund may be offered upon written request within 30 days of notice.

Temporary interruptions due to instructor illness, facility issues, or other causes will be addressed through reasonable rescheduling efforts or substitution but do not entitle Customers to refunds unless the class is canceled in full.

7. Waiver of Liability

Frontier Tutoring is not responsible for any damage, loss, or injury occurring before, during, or after the class. Customers are responsible for ensuring timely drop-off and pick-up of Students. The Company’s maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected class.

8. Media & Recording

Sessions may be recorded for training, quality assurance, or internal development purposes. By enrolling, you grant consent for the Company to record audio, video, and images of the Student, and to use such media for internal purposes. Marketing use requires separate permission and is governed by the main Service Agreement.

9. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to inclement weather, public health emergencies, or facility closures. In such cases, Frontier Tutoring will make reasonable efforts to resume the class or provide a partial refund.

10. Contact & Dispute Resolution

All inquiries regarding elective classes should be directed to support@frontiertutoring.com. Any disputes related to these Terms shall be governed by the arbitration and legal provisions in the Frontier Tutoring Service Agreement.

11. Relationship to Frontier Tutoring Service Agreement

These terms are a supplement to, and an integral part of, the Frontier Tutoring Service Agreement. All terms and conditions of the Frontier Tutoring Service Agreement apply to Elective Classes unless expressly modified herein. In the event of a conflict, the general Frontier Tutoring Service Agreement shall govern, except where specific provisions in these terms directly modify the general terms for this particular service.
