Background & Selected Experience

 

Born and raised in Alaska, Ben graduated from University of Alaska Anchorage with his degree in Mathematics. He has worked as a tutor in the Math Lab and as Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at UAA. Through these experiences, he fell in love with teaching and tutoring, and he loves sharing his passion for the subject with others. 

 

Outside of work, Ben loves the outdoors and hiking. He appreciates being about to look our the window and see the mountains; they give him great views and provides a calm space to think things through. He also enjoys video games, especially strategy games that provide a brain exercise in a fun package.  Ben hopes to keep sharing his passion for education with others through his work as a Tutoring Specialist.
