Webinar | Tuesday, March 2, 2021 | 6:00 PM Alaska time
Co-Hosted by Frontier Tutoring and Alaska Middle College School (families from all high schools are welcome to attend) |
Despite the turmoil COVID-19 has introduced to the college admissions process, SAT/ACT testing remains an important aspect of college application and scholarship planning. During this webinar, Kimberly Hewitt, director of our college counseling practice, will review what's new given COVID-19—and what hasn't changed—about approaching your SAT/ACT testing strategy as a current junior or senior. Topics this webinar will address:
- Get the latest updates on changes to the SAT/ACT, including COVID-19's impact on testing and test-optional policies, plus changes to the SAT essay
- Review our 3 Steps to SAT/ACT Success (determine whether to focus on the SAT vs. ACT, set your target score, and select your study strategy)
- Learn how to craft your SAT/ACT strategy and timeline to maximize your competitiveness for college admissions and scholarships (including the Alaska Performance Scholarship)
At the end of the webinar, we'll have time for Q&A about all things testing and college admissions.
Alaska Middle College School counselors will also be available to answer any AMCS-specific questions. |
