"This program is a good way to know where you are and test your skills for next year. Both the assessment report and my time with [the Tutoring Specialist], where we worked on the problems I didn't get right, were extremely valuable. I wish my teacher last year had time to do what you did with me in the session."

How ReadyToRoll Works
Take Readiness Assessment
Start by taking our quick, 30-minute readiness assessment, available for students entering Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus/Trigonometry, or AP® Calculus AB in the fall. The assessment, designed specifically for Anchorage School District courses, will diagnose your readiness to hit the ground running in the fall based on your mastery of relevant skills from prior coursework. After you complete the free sign up form, we will email you a link to the assessment and schedule your free math strategy session (see below). You can complete the assessment online anytime prior to your appointment. If you don't have a chance to take the assessment before your session, you can complete it in person during the session.

FAQs
ReadyToRoll is available for students who will be entering Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus/Trigonometry, or AP® Calculus AB in the fall.
ReadyToRoll is designed for all students. Whether you earned an A in your most recent math course or you struggled significantly, you have likely forgotten (or never properly learned) certain skills that will prove foundational for next year's math class. Identifying these skills now, and then mastering them over the summer, will allow you to hit the ground running in the fall.
During your math strategy session, you will meet individually with Justine Wallitschek, the lead Tutoring Specialist in our math practice. First, we will review the score report from your readiness assessment, which will indicate the skills you need to review prior to starting your next math course. Next, we will walk through any problems you answered incorrectly, priority areas identified in your score report, and several additional diagnostic problems. As part of this process, we will directly observe—in real time—your strengths and areas for development in math content and skills.
At the end of this session, you will receive a ReadyToRoll Action Plan, which identifies the specific skills you need to develop before starting your next math course. The action plan will include recommendations for a one-on-one tutoring summer program designed to address these areas, though you may also choose to complete your own independent review.
